展覽簡介｜
時下以寵物為主題的創作日益推新，其中常會扣人心弦的抓住人類與寵物間的動人情感，而當你賦予牠們情感時，寵物就不再只是寵物。透過名家的作品來看「寵物」在藝術上的解讀，有的以象徵手法隱喻社會或哲學意涵，有的僅是以關愛的角度描繪，皆引領著觀者進入創作者與寵物的關係，進而窺探了創作者的內心世界。
本展以藝術家對於家裡的「貓」寵物為繪畫創作起點，繪畫創作是依照自己感覺走的一種個人化紀錄，藝術家也說確實因為有了牠們，在繪畫的寄託上有了真實感，或許在旁人眼中看來是在畫貓，但實質上卻是藝術家透過畫貓而感到心靈療癒作用。就好比是一份歸屬感，那份只屬於「我和你」的世界的歸屬，只要在有你的空間，便會安心許多。不管旁人怎麼想、怎麼說，將自己和貓的生活帶進創作：直接地從「我們的生活出發，把我們的生活帶進藝術。」
Exhibition Introduction｜
Nowadays the topic of artworks about pets are more innovative day after day, and they usually catch the touching feelings between human and pets. Pets are no longer pets when you give them emotion. Through the works of famous artists to read the interpretation of “Pets” in art, some use symbolic means to metaphor the society or philosophical meanings, and the other only portray in the view of love. Both of them can lead visitors into the relationship between the creator and the pet, and also look into the inner world of the creator.
In this exhibition, the creative idea is based on the artist’s pet cat and her paintings are all following her heart for personal record. The artist said that she can truly feel the entrustment on paintings because of the cats. Perhaps in the others eyes the paintings are just about the work of cat, but in fact they are effects that can cure her heart. It is like a sense of belonging, like the world is now only belongs to “you and me”. As long as in the space of you, I will feel easy. No matter what the others say, the artists will bring their life into the creation. ” Start with our life, and bring it into the arts.” directly .
創作理念｜
畫貓就像是在遊戲，對我而言，「遊戲」就是在畫布上玩色彩。創作較在意意象的部分，將自己的心意狀態融合而成的具體形象，把創作主題放在觀察貓的生活以及特性，而且我認為在畫面中實驗性地去「玩」複合媒材以及自動性技法能帶給自己在創作上有更大的可能性，並且我也喜歡像這樣的遊戲繪畫模式。
我與牠們共同經歷了許多值得紀錄的成長歷程與生活瞬間，這些包含著喜怒哀樂的情緒以及心理轉折的探索，逐步轉換成創作的形式出現。
Creative concept｜
Painting a cat is like playing a game. For me, to play colors on the canvas is the rule of the game. My creation is more concerned with the image. I merge my own mind into the specific image, and put the creative subject on the observation of the cat’s life and it’s characteristics. I think that “to play” with composite media and automatic techniques experimentally in the picture can bring more possibility in my creations, and also I really like this kind of painting pattern.
I have experienced a lot of growth process and life moments that are worth recording with them, and they are filled with different emotions and the exploration of my psychological transitions. Gradually, those we experienced are all transformed into the form of creation.
